Startups 100 2021

myenergi named in Startups 100: the annual list of most disruptive new UK businesses

We are honoured to have been named in this year’s Startups 100 index.

Established in 2008, the Startups 100 index identifies privately-owned UK companies launched in the last five years that demonstrate innovation, solid financials, economic impact and the ability to scale.

Run by Startups.co.uk, the programme is the longest running index of its kind, previously including brands such as Revolut, Deliveroo, HelloFresh and Bulb.

Since we were founded in 2016, we have skyrocketed through the industry continuing to experience huge global demand. Our unique range of renewable energy products for eco-smart home management, is what has made this global expansion possible allowing us to open subsidiaries all over the world, become the UK’s #1 best selling electric vehicle charger and recently ship our 100,000th unit.

Jordan Brompton, co-founder and CMO of myenergi, commented: “Our inspiration has always been to create a positive impact, push the boundaries of possibility and change the world through pioneering green technologies. We started with nothing, except for a few good ideas and a serious passion for change – today, we’re widely considered a global market leader.

“Being named in the Startups 100 index is truly a real honour. Considering the challenges of the past 18 months, it’s a privilege to be recognised for our innovation, scalability and the success story that we’ve created.”

Richard Parris, managing editor of Startups.co.uk, added: “After a particularly difficult year for businesses, we are happier than ever to celebrate UK success stories. Every year the Startups 100 shows how companies are positively responding to the issues, concerns and trends of the time.”
