Due to the continued growth and development, we are looking for a Lead Technician with a proven ability in electronics assembly, with excellent reworking skills on surface mount and through hole technologies to join our multi-disciplined engineering team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience in reading and understanding schematics, parts lists, PCB CAD packages, sourcing parts, assembly and wiring of electronic devices to allow the assembly of engineering prototypes and other tasks when required.
As the Lead Technician the role will need good organisational skills and lead other Technicians as required ideally the candidate will have but not essential as training will be given and experience will be evaluated. IPC soldering and be able to wire to a high standard.
An attention to detail, ability to organise your work and knowledge of current PCB assembly and repair techniques are essential.
· Assembly of electronic assembles/PCB’s.
· Wiring of assemblies.
· Ordering components.
· Computer skills.
· Create/maintain documentation.
· Allocation of current jobs.
· Guide other Technicians when required.
· Organise training.
· Quality checks.
Qualifications and Experience:
· IPC certification or relevant work experience.
· A minimum of 3 years PCB assembly and general assembly experience.
· General office application computer skills.
· PCB CAD package usage.

Salary: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
