Large EV (Electric Vehicle) is an extremely prestigious accolade within the WhatCar? Car of the Year Awards 2020, particularly given the increasing popularity and focus on electric cars right now.

This category celebrates the very best large electric vehicle of the last 12 months.

Hybrid and electric cars have become a more viable option for many motorists due to their efficiency, fuel economy and vastly reduced emissions compared to petrol and diesel vehicles.

The popularity and impressive innovation of EVs was underlined in last year’s awards, when the Kia e-Niro walked away with the highly sought after Car of the Year 2019 and Best Electric Car 2019 awards.
