The modular battery solution offers a simple way to safely store either surplus renewable energy or off-peak power from the grid, delivering low-cost, low-carbon electricity at the touch of a button.
Best of all, libbi can work in harmony with other myenergi products, helping you to take total control of your home energy by harnessing surplus generation to power your EV, heat your home, or store it for use in periods of low generation and high consumption.
Modular by design, adaptable to your time-of-use tariff and fully customisable to suit your home energy needs, you can specify libbi in four common configurations, with the option of either one, two, three or four individual battery units collectively providing up to 20kWh of eco-smart home energy storage capacity.
With a single 5kWh module alone holding enough electricity to watch TV for 89 hours, or light a three-bedroom house for more than six days, there’s a perfect system for every application. All managed through our pioneering control panel, libbi makes it easy to take complete control of your home energy generation and consumption.
Depending on your energy storage needs, you can specify either a 3.68kW inverter (for the single battery module 5kWh system) or a larger 5kW inverter (for multiple battery module systems of 10kWh and upwards). Both systems guarantee exceptional reliability, outstanding durability and total control of your home energy.
Alongside offering storage flexibility, this means that libbi can be fully customised to suit your energy generation potential, your consumption demand, your property size, or even your budget.
Not just smart, but eco-smart, libbi can capture 100% self-generated surplus renewable energy from solar or wind in periods of high generation and low consumption (typically when you’re out of the house), storing it for use when it’s needed most.

When you buy a libbi home battery storage system
With speed, simplicity and efficiency in mind, we’ve thought about everything to make the installation process quick and easy, taking the weight completely off your mind.
When you open your brand new libbi battery, you’ll find your chosen hybrid inverter (either 3.68kW or 5kW, depending on system size), either one, two, three or four 5kWh battery modules (depending on system size), our next-generation libbi controller unit, installation instructions and all required cables and fixtures.

We’ve designed libbi to be fully IP65 compliant as standard, which guarantees unbeatable dust protection and prevents accidental water ingress. This means that the system can be safely installed either inside or outside the home without impacting performance or reliability.
However, while the battery modules and inverter are fully weatherproof, the control unit must be installed inside the home – not only to protect against humidity and temperature extremes, but also to ensure maximum device connectivity.
Our libbi smart battery has an operating voltage range of between 44.8–56.5V and a nominal voltage of 51.2V. We believe that this offers users with the perfect blend of discharge speed, storage efficiency and system scalability.
It’s also an important figure to keep on hand when you’re specifying microgeneration, such as solar and wind, to ensure maximum system efficiency.
The myenergi libbi works as both an AC and DC coupled battery system with solar PV. As such, you can either connect PV without the need for a separate inverter or retrofit to any existing AC system.
As there is currently no battery supply chain in the UK, we have partnered with two of the world’s leading specialist manufacturers – CATL, which supplies roughly 34% of the world’s lithium-ion batteries, for our battery modules; and KSTAR for the inverter solution.
The end product, which includes our proprietary controller, is a myenergi solution, and the capability it offers is completely unique.
